Students return to the banks today for the last module before the summer holidays

Students will return to classes on Wednesday after the Easter vacation, according to the calendar approved by the Ministry of Education. This is the last module before the summer holidays, which will start on Friday 21st June.

By way of exception, for the 12th day, 13th evening and reduced attendance classes, the school year has a duration of 34 weeks of courses and ends on June 7, 2024, and for the 8th class the school year has a duration of 35 weeks of courses and ends on June 14, 2024.

For classes in high school education – the technological branch and for classes in professional education, the school year has a duration of 37 weeks of classes and ends on June 28.

The 2024-2025 school year has the following structure:

Mode 1

Courses: September 9, 2024 – October 25, 2024
Vacation: October 26, 2024 – November 3, 2024

Mode 2

Courses: November 4, 2024 – December 20, 2024
Vacation: December 21, 2024 – January 7, 2025

Mode 3

Courses: January 8, 2025 – February 7, 2025, respectively Friday, February 14, 2025 or Friday, February 21, 2025, as the case may be, at the decision of the county/municipality school inspectorates;
Vacation: one week, at the decision of the county/municipality school inspectorates of Bucharest, between February 10 and March 2, 2025

Mode 4

Courses: February 17, 2025, respectively Monday, February 24, 2025 or Monday, March 3, 2025, at the decision of the county/municipality school inspectorates of Bucharest, as the case may be – April 17, 2025
Vacation: April 18, 2025 – April 27, 2025;

Mode 5
