Students return to classes on Wednesday after the Easter vacation, according to the calendar approved by the Ministry of Education.
There will then be a period of classes, until the summer vacation, which will begin on Friday, June 21, after the classes are completed. The exception is the 12th day, 13th evening and reduced attendance classes. The school year has a duration of 34 weeks of classes and ends on June 7, 2024, while for the 8th grade the school year spans 35 weeks of classes and lasts until June 14, 2024.
At the same time, for classes in high school education – the technological branch and for classes in professional education, the duration of the school year is 37 weeks of classes, which will end on June 28.
The structure of the 2024-2025 school year:
* courses – Monday, September 9, 2024 – Friday, October 25, 2024, (holiday – Saturday, October 26, 2024 – Sunday, November 3, 2024);
* courses – Monday, November 4, 2024 – Friday, December 20, 2024 (holiday – Saturday, December 21, 2024 – Tuesday, January 7, 2025);
* courses – Wednesday, January 8, 2025 – Friday, February 7/February 14/February 21, 2025 (depending on the decision of the county school inspectorates); one week of vacation of your choice: between February 10, 2025 and March 2, 2025;
* courses – Monday, February 17/February 24/March 3, 2025 – Thursday, April 17, 2025 (depending on the decision of the county school inspectorates), (holiday – Friday, April 18, 2025 – Sunday, April 27, 2025);
* courses – Monday, April 28, 2025 – Friday, June 20, 2025 (summer vacation – Saturday, June 21, 2025 – Sunday, September 7, 2025).
