Today, May 8, 2024, the registration of candidates for the 2024 Titularization exam begins. Applications can be submitted until May 17, 2024.
Between May 29 and June 28, practical/oral tests and special classroom inspections take place; resolving appeals to these evidences. Between May 27 and June 30, 2024, the remaining tenured teaching staff with unresolved activity reduction or whose activity reduction occurred between March and May 2024 can participate in the practical/oral tests and classroom inspections.
Between May 27 and June 14, 2024, tenured teaching staff requested for secondment in the interest of education can participate in the practical/oral tests. On July 5, 2024, the results of practical/oral tests and special classroom inspections will be posted.
On July 17, 2024, the written test will be held, on July 23, 2024, the initial results will be announced, July 23-24, 2024 – registration of appeals at school inspectorates and their transmission to appeals resolution committees, July 25-30 2024 – resolution of appeals, and on July 31, 2024 – communication of final results.
In the 2024 Tenure, substitute teachers lose their position if they are removed from the competition for fraud or attempted fraud, according to the mobility methodology for the 2024-2025 school year.

The representatives of the County School Inspectorate (ISJ) of Iași conveyed the fact that the most places for an indefinite period were taken out for Teacher in the Romanian Language, respectively 63, Educators/Teachers for preschool education/Teacher for early education, respectively 31, Educators/Teachers for early education, namely 17 places, Physical Education and Sport, 9 places, English Language – 9 places, Physics – 8 places. In order to become tenured, teachers must obtain a minimum grade of 7 in both the practical and the written test. To become a substitute, for fixed-term employment, candidates must obtain a minimum grade of 5 in both tests.
