The integration of the Republic of Moldova into the European Union is a national mission, in which everyone actively contributes to the formation of the country’s future. It is a complex process that requires collaboration, open dialogue and mutual respect. This is the opinion of the leaders of the youth organizations of six parties who signed a declaration today, by which they commit to contribute to the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the community bloc. “It’s time to show everyone that young people are ready to take responsibility and be catalysts for change,” the signatories emphasized.

ANTON SCHOLNIC, PSDE member: “We united and consolidated our forces, ideas and visions, to emphasize that Europe is not the exclusive prerogative of the governing party, but is our common aspiration, of all. We chose to come together to highlight that our ideal is shared and supported with determination by young people from all political spheres of the Republic of Moldova.”

ION BULGAC, CUB member: “We are here to give you an invitation to struggle and courage. We are here to show that the opposition does not mean an organized criminal group. We are here to call things out. Today we launch a call for all young people who think like us to join us.”

ANA FILIPENCO, member of the People’s Power party: “Don’t be indifferent! Vote in the elections, speak your mind and be proactive! Together we can change the world for the better. Together we can build a free, flourishing and democratic state based on the principles of the European Union.”

The young people say they are determined to work towards this goal, regardless of the obstacles they will encounter along the way.

At the end, the leaders of the youth organizations of PSDE, PPDA, MAN, CUB, LOC and PPO signed the Common Manifesto, by which they commit to contribute to the achievement of the European objective of the Republic of Moldova.
