Three people were transported to the hospital on Saturday evening, after three cars were involved in an accident on DN 1A, in Prahova county. One of the injured, a 49-year-old man, was incarcerated, requiring the intervention of the specialized crew to remove him from the car.

According to ISU Prahova, the accident occurred in Boldeşti-Scăeni, on DN 1A, where the military firefighters intervened with a fire truck, an extrication truck, a SMURD crew and a SMURD mobile intensive care ambulance.

“3 cars and their 4 occupants were involved in the road accident, one of whom was incarcerated, but conscious. The firefighters, once arrived at the scene of the accident, acted immediately to extract the person and hand him over to the TIM crew for emergency medical assistance. All the people involved are conscious, assisted on the spot”, said the quoted source.

The incarcerated man is 49 years old, he is polytraumatized and assisted by the TIM crew, while a young man of about 20 years old, with excoriations on his limbs, was assisted by SMURD. Two other young people, about 20 and 17 years old respectively, were assisted by the SAJ.

Three of the assisted persons are transported to the hospital.
