Accident in Port Tomis, 17-year-old teenager injured

Last evening, the emergency teams were called to intervene in a serious road accident in Tomis Tourist Port, near the large car park. The incident involved a motorcycle and a car, and as a result of the collision, a 17-year-old teenager was injured.

The victim, a young male, was found conscious and cooperative by rescuers. He suffered an injury to his left lower limb and an injury to his ribs. Emergency crews responded promptly, transporting the teenager to hospital for treatment and further investigation.

The authorities are currently investigating the exact causes of the accident and the circumstances that led to its occurrence.

“On May 3rd, at around 11:40 p.m., police officers from the Road Safety Service were alerted to the fact that a road accident occurred in Port Tomis in Constanța.

The police officers dispatched to the scene found that the impact occurred between a car, driven by a 19-year-old man, and a motorcycle driven by a 17-year-old minor.

The two were tested with the breathalyzer and the one provided, in order to establish the indications regarding the possible presence of psychoactive substances, the results being negative.

As a result of the road accident, the minor was slightly injured.

In the case, a criminal investigation file was drawn up for the commission of the crime of culpable bodily harm.”
