Prof. Dr. Constantin Dulcan reveals the secret of longevity, as well as what longevity actually means, how it would be ideal to think and especially how important the mental state is when we get sick. A curiosity is the fact that intelligent people have a harder time adapting to society.

As an author, Professor Dulcan has written a number of books that have had a significant impact among readers interested in medicine, neurology and spirituality. One of his best-known works explores the relationship between the brain and consciousness, offering an innovative perspective on human functioning and potential.

What is the secret of longevity

During the Health Advice show, Prof. Dr. Constantin Dulcan spoke about what longevity actually means and what is the secret of a long and harmonious life.

“Every moment we think, we plead for health, longevity, harmony, joy and a constructiveness, a positive finality given to life or vice versa. We see for hatred, envy, jealousy, aggression, and obviously this means illness, short life. Longevity means as long as possible to exist. It seems that a being’s lifespan is proportional to its reproductive capacity. So human reproduction, starting, let’s say, from the teenage years of 15-20 years, we multiply by three, by four, by five. It is said that the Japanese, at least, are more generous, that the life expectancy should be around 120, I say even 130 years. What is certain is that at the end of the 19th century, the average age was 50 years.

At the moment, very gifted children are being born and starting around the year 2000, their quotient is at 100 and 80 even 200, intelligence quotient.

Normality starts from 70-120. We, these common people, are at this small margin. Scientists, geniuses are beyond us”, explained Prof. Dr. Constantin Dulcan.

“The smart man has more worries”

Asked if the level of intelligence has an impact on the longevity of life, Professor Constantin Dulcan answered: “I wouldn’t say. Because the smart man has more worries, I think. Not only does he have more worries, but sometimes he has a harder time adjusting than other people. Why? Because he has formed a system of ideas that he considers to be his own and which do not always echo the social ones.

But in general, an intelligent man should live as long as possible, because it would mean that he knows how to coordinate, to order his life in a manner, let’s say scientific, acceptable to his own benefits. In other words, I say that your parents give you that education in which you learn the lesson of love of your peers, of your parents. School gives you a social and individual status, it teaches you to do something, and the important thing in this whole story is to have a goal, a well-thought-out goal, which is to say the problem. ‘What is the meaning of my life?’ This inner motivation is the one that expresses a longer or shorter lifespan”, Prof. Constantin Dulcan also explained.

How the mind contributes to the healing of diseases

“That’s what a Japanese doctor says: disease starts in the mind and is cured by the mind. It is important to know exactly how to think, at the moment we have enough laboratory studies that talk about how to use words that have a positive, constructive or vice versa meaning or semantics. Our thoughts are words, they are emotions, they are feelings, they are behaviors.

All this has a constructive, positive purpose, beneficial to your health or on the contrary, they have a negative, destructive meaning and your life can be at a moment, let’s say rather like this, of chance or not. I believe that nothing can be built from scratch. We must build on something that is useful both to us and to our fellows. No one, absolutely no one can live only through himself, but we all live through others, that is my responsibility to be.

Just as I want the car, the television, and the object that I get from society, which another man made, and I want it to work for me, I must have the responsibility that I must also give something to society that is the same reliable, functional as I want the ones I get to be. So there is a responsibility to be both mine and those around me.

The secret of long life

When asked what is the secret by which he managed to reach the honorable age of 85 years healthy, with energy, strength and the ambition to teach others how to live in harmony, Prof. Constantin Dulcan answered:

“I didn’t do anything that I knew wasn’t useful, first, to my spiritual and scientific evolution and, of course, to my health.

I asked myself questions from a very young age, what is the meaning of existence, and my entire intellectual and spiritual evolution focused on this idea: What is my meaning in this world and what should I do. My life is an explanation of the meaning I understood from life”, concluded Prof. Constantin Dulcan.
