At Vama Veche, a protest demonstration will take place today, in fact an act of solidarity that wants to keep in the public consciousness the memory of the two young people who lost their lives 9 months ago, in a traffic accident by a driver under the influence of prohibited substances. It is also a form of protest to the way the judicial act is carried out, at the Mangalia Court, in the case of Vlad Pascu, the author of the accident. The judge in this case was investigated under a disciplinary aspect and her suspension was requested, but the Superior Council of the Magistracy rejected the request, so that she will also do the judicial investigation in the future, the next term of the trial being set for May 9. The demonstrators will meet at 5:00 p.m., in Vama Veche and they will go to the scene of the accident. We remind you that on August 19, 2023, Vlad Pascu was driving a car on DN 39, and at around 5:25 a.m., near the town of 2 Mai, he entered a group of pedestrians.
