Cluj Day | Motorcyclist DIED in an accident 100 km from Cluj-Napoca / “A man with a character of grade 10! We will never forget you”

A 45-year-old motorcyclist died, on Wednesday, in an accident 100 km from Cluj-Napoca, on DN 17, within the radius of Podirei in Bistriţa-Năsăud County, according to the County Police Inspectorate.

“Today, the policemen from the Beclean City Police were directed by SNUAU 112 to a road accident on National Road 17, in Podirei. At the scene of the event, the policemen found that a car driven by a 27-year-old man from Şieu- “Sfântu collided with a motorcycle driven from the opposite direction by a 45-year-old man from Beclean. The accident resulted, unfortunately, in the death of the motorcyclist,” the Police said.

The 27-year-old driver was tested with the breathalyzer device, the result being negative, and he was later transported to the hospital for medical investigations. In the case, a criminal case was drawn up for manslaughter. As a result of this accident, road traffic on DN 17, in the area of ​​the town of Podira, was completely blocked for about an hour and a half in both directions for the on-site investigation, the drivers being directed by the police to an agricultural road from approach – DJ 151.

Even if the rescuers from ISU Bistrita-Năsăud immediately started the resuscitation protocol, when they arrived at the scene of the accident, the body of the approximately 45-year-old man did not respond to the applied maneuvers, and the doctor had to declare him dead at the scene of the accident.

According to ziardebistrita.ro information, the motorcyclist who died in the accident on DN 17 is Claudiu Man. He was a driving instructor at the SUPER OK driving school in Bistrita. “What a sad news! Sad and unfair at the same time! It’s hard for me to find the right words about Claudiu Man’s passing to the eternal, the one who today suffered a tragic road accident and lost his life! I can’t believe it even now.
