Tesco shoppers issued urgent warning over major Clubcard change

Tesco customers have been issued an urgent reminder to act now or risk missing out. The supermarket is reminding its customers they need to use almost £17m worth of Clubcard vouchers before they expire at the end of this month.

The £16.9m of vouchers – which are valid for two years – need to be used by midnight on May 31. Clubcard vouchers can be used towards the cost of your weekly shop, fuel or for a new deal with Tesco Mobile.

Customers can unlock even more value by swapping the vouchers for twice their value, with more than 100 Clubcard Reward Partners. This includes PizzaExpress, Alton Towers Resort and Hotels.com.

Tesco also said there are millions of pounds worth of Clubcard Reward Partner codes expiring soon. More than £27m of expiring codes for Clubcard Reward Partners need to be used over the next six weeks.

This includes more than £16m worth of rewards for days out and eating out. Shoppers have been emailed reminders but are also being told to use the Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app to see if any vouchers or reward codes are due to expire soon.

“With millions of vouchers expiring at the end of this month, we are urging everyone to make the most of their Clubcard this May and check to see if any vouchers or reward codes are expiring.”
