Qantas is investigating reports of a security breach this morning.

Daily Mail Australia understands customers’ names, flight details, and boarding passes appeared on the mobile apps of strangers.

In a statement, the airline said it was looking into it.

Many Qantas app users reported the app problem on social media.

‘The Qantas app has completely sh*t the bed. It is showing random people’s names. Random people’s boarding passes.

I can change their seats. I can transfer points. Full security breach of the entire system.

Another said: ‘I went to the app today to have a look at all my trips and noticed I was logged on to some obscure frequent flyer account.

‘My trips were all there but the upcoming trips name, status and points displayed were all wrong. Every time I force shutdown the app there was a different person.

‘Makes me concerned that the same thing is happening to my account somewhere.’
