A traffic accident took place on Tuesday, around 11:00, on Ștefan cel Mare street, at the exit from the municipality of Sibiu.
The Sibiu police say that from the first investigations carried out, it emerged that “while driving a car towards Agnita, a 49-year-old Sibiu turned left without securing himself and collided with a car driven from the opposite direction opposed by a 47-year-old man from Ruja”.
The two passengers in the car driven from Agnita, a 46-year-old woman and an 8-year-old minor, both from Ruja, were transported to the hospital conscious.
A SMURD crew with a doctor intervened urgently and provided medical assistance to a 46-year-old woman who was transported to UPU Sibiu because she suffered a shoulder injury.
A SAJ crew also intervened on the scene and provided care to an 8-year-old minor.
Traffic is difficult in the area.
