• The Spaniards from Iberdrola are withdrawing from the local market.

Premier Energy is buying a new wind farm in Romania that belonged to the powerful Spanish group Iberdrola. The Premier Energy group takes over the Mihai Viteazu wind farm, with a capacity of 80 MW, located in Constanța county. It is about the park owned by the Spanish company Iberdrola, which thus withdraws from the local market. The transaction, worth 88 million euros, is subject to standard regulatory approvals for this type of transaction in Romania, reports Profit.ro.

• For houses with a value of more than 500,000 euros and cars of more than 75,000 for which the “special tax” has been correctly paid, a tax difference will apply.

The Ministry of Finance wants to amend the Fiscal Code to be able to tax more luxury properties and cars in the opinion of the Treasury for which the payment of the “Special Tax” has not been correctly determined by the local administrations and owners. In this sense, on Friday, April 26, the relevant ministry put in public transparency a draft emergency ordinance for “modification and completion of some normative acts”.
