Mihai Enache, the AUR candidate for the Capital City Hall, submitted his candidacy on Monday, together with the party’s president, George Simion, who said that he would be with Enache “every day” to “fight” for Bucharest.

Mihai Enache (AUR), on Monday, submitted his candidacy for the Capital City Hall, together with the party’s president, George Simion. According to a recent Avangarde survey, Enache would benefit from only 15% of Bucharest residents’ voting intentions, far behind the general mayor Nicușor Dan (31%), Gabriela Firea (24%) and Cristian Popescu Piedone (20%).

At the event, Enache declared that Bucharest must become a capital “beautiful, safe, a family capital”desired that are part of its program

“Bucharest needs administration and competence. (…) Bucharest must become our capital, a predictable capital, a beautiful, safe capital, a family capital. This is what I emphasize in my program, which I presented seven months ago, and this is what I will do after the June 9 elections. Smooth traffic, medical services, safety, drug free

The AUR candidate said that he will streamline Bucharest traffic, ensure that children have modern medical services, benefit from street safety, including through the total fight against drugs.

“A city where the traffic is fluid, a city where the children of Bucharest have hospitals with sufficient places and conditions for the century in which we live, a Bucharest where our children have access to safe parks and a city where drugs that surrounds the young generation everywhere – both at school, and near school, and on the street, and in parks, and in clubs – to disappear”promised the AUR candidate.

Mihai Enache emphasized that “it’s time” that the administration should be left in the hands of specialists, not politicians, and that the citizens of Bucharest must analyze the CVs of the candidates proposed by the parties to the Capital City Hall, saying that “the only choice” it can only be AUR, both at the PMB and at the General Council, at the sector town halls and at the local councils.

“It’s time to put specialists in administrative positions, not political people who are walked around various institutions, regardless of their training, regardless of what results they have achieved so far in their public careers. It’s time to look at the CVs and portfolios of the candidates proposed by the political parties at Bucharest City Hall.

And I hope that the people of Bucharest will seriously analyze what these candidates have done so far, what they recommend to occupy the position of general mayor. The president of AUR, George Simion, was also present at the launch of Mihai Enache’s candidacy. He declared himself disgusted by the current offer for the citizens of Bucharest and that the results of the elections on June 9 will contradict those who “for larger or smaller amounts I advertise obviously false opinion polls”.
