On Sunday, Marian Vasile submitted his candidacy for the position of mayor of the Municipality of Craiova from the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR). At the same time, the list of AUR candidates was submitted to the Craiova Municipal Council for the June 9 elections.

Marian Vasile to come to Municipal Electoral Office of Circumscription with an Oltcit 12 TRS, the domestic car that has been a symbol of Craiova and Oltenia for a long time, as stated by the candidate for the seat of Olguța Vasilescu. The files with the candidacies for the Craiova City Hall and the Municipal Local Council were brought with the same Oltcit.

“Today, on Holy Palm Sunday, I submitted my candidacy for the position of mayor of the Municipality of Craiova from the Alliance for the Union of Romanians. At the same time, I also submitted the list of AUR candidates for local council Municipal Craiova, well-trained people, people who have a profession behind them and, above all, honest citizens of Craiova who know well the problems of the community”, announced Marian Vasile.

Marian Vasile sa bborn on June 8, 1980, in Craiova. He is married and has two children. An IT engineer by profession, Marian Vasile is an entrepreneur, and since 2008 he has been a local councilor, during which time he has gained extensive experience in public administration. Double degree in computer science and mathematics, Marian Vasile claims that he comes to the mayor’s office with a new breath and that he aims to make Craiova a city modern, safe, green and innovative, a city that offers a high quality of life for all Craiova residents.

“I know exactly what we have to do to increase the standard of living of the people of Craiova, to solve the existing problems and I am firmly convinced that our city has the power to be reborn, that we can bring joy back to the community and that we will regain our specific Olten pride, which seems to have disappeared in recent years. Doctors, teachers, engineers, economists, lawyers, and students are part of the team that comes to the City Council. Avem the belief that together with all those involved we will make our city reborn. So may God help us!”, Marian Vasile also affirmed
