Disappearance of Arian: Little Arian, 6 years old, has been continuously searched for since Monday evening, since he disappeared from his parents’ home. Disappearance of Arian: “Today we take everything to zero”

The search for Arian, the six-year-old boy from Bremervörde, Lower Saxony, continues. Last night children’s songs were sung and skybeamers were used, reflectors that project a beam of light into the sky. It was already the fourth night of operations. As the boy is autistic and does not respond when called, balloons were used to attract his attention. For rescuers it is a race against time: Arian disappeared on Monday evening, April 22, and went to the forest. He is only dressed thinly and is in socks. (Continue after photo)

Today we are taking everything to zero and starting again locally“, a police spokesman said this morning. The search begins at the starting point, at the parents’ apartment. “Then we’ll draw circles and expand little by little.” Could Arian have taken a nap in a warm trash can? At least the investigators do not rule this out, and that is why the garbage collection in the Bremervörde-Elm district was canceled this morning. Search parties criss-cross the city, opening every trash can, garage, and manhole cover. Residents are encouraged to check their own properties for the missing boy. Although the situation is serious, the police still have hopes for a happy ending. Hundreds of emergency services continue to search for Arian. “We still strongly believe we can find Arian safely,” Chief Inspector Michael Butt said on Thursday. The search became a race against time. The Bundeswehr is also supporting the search, with 250 soldiers from the 31st Parachute Regiment in action. During the search, helpers used drones, a helicopter and a Tornado plane that took aerial photos with a thermal camera, according to Merkur.de.
