George Simion, the leader of AUR, shared the happy news that he and his wife, Ilinca, became parents for the first time. Just one day after celebrating his name as Saint George, on April 23, Ilinca gave birth to a baby boy. The announcement, which was made public on Wednesday, comes almost a year after the couple announced they were expecting a child.

As a sign of joy, George Simion posted an emotional message on social networks, accompanied by a photo in which the new mother appears smiling. “Thank you, you have made me rich: father of a boy! It seems to me an unreal effort that our wives put into giving birth. That’s why you are our better half! Thank you, my Ilinca!”the AUR leader wrote on the Facebook page.

After marrying Ilinca Simon, AUR leader George Simion expressed his desire to have a large family, including both girls and boys. “I hope to have girls, I hope to have boys, I hope it goes well. We all want newlyweds to go well in a marriage and we sleep many children. We don’t have yet, I can’t confirm that we will have a girl, a boy, that we will have a child.
