A man from Cluj without a license got behind the wheel drunk and caused an accident, he crashed into a bridgehead, he was detained.

It happened on April 23 at around 3:50 p.m., later the police in Turda ordered the detention measure, for 24 hours, against a 49-year-old man from Viișoara commune, investigated for the offenses of driving a vehicle without a license and driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or other substances. He was spotted by the police on the same day, around 5 am, after driving a van on DN75, in the town of Mihai Viteazu, being involved in a road accident resulting in material damage. The driver without a license would have lost control over the direction of travel and hit a bridge head, later being thrown into the fence of a building. When tested with the breathalyzer, the man had a blood alcohol level of 1.33 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air, which is why he was taken to the hospital for the collection of biological samples.
