A serious road accident took place on Wednesday afternoon, in Mihoiești. Four people arrived at the hospital after a female driver ran into a car traveling in the opposite direction.

The Câmpeni fire station intervenes with a special water and foam extinguishing vehicle, an EPA and a SAJ ambulance, to provide first medical aid and ensure specific measures for a road accident occurring within the radius of Mihoiești.

From the information received, it would be about 2 cars involved, two traffic participants, one of whom was unconscious, with no incarcerated persons.

UPDATE: The intervention forces arrived at the scene of the accident. 2 cars, 3 traffic participants are involved in the accident, all people are aware and cooperative.

At the scene of the accident, at the moment, specific measures are being taken by the military firefighters and first aid is being given to the 3 people involved in the accident.

UPDATE at 17.06: All 3 people will be transported by the medical crews to the Câmpeni CPU.

IPJ UPDATE: On April 24, 2024, at around 4:30 p.m., a 59-year-old woman from Câmpeni, while driving a car on DN 75, within the radius of Mihoești, collided with a car driven from the opposite direction , by a 55-year-old man, from Arieseni commune, Alba county.

Following the accident, the two drivers as well as two women aged 85 and 53, passengers in the second car, suffered bodily injuries and were transported to the hospital.

The drivers were tested with the breathalyzer, the result was negative.

The investigations are continued under the aspect of committing the crime of culpable bodily harm.
