Deputy Daniel Gheba (AUR) says about the No Barriers campaign that it is an essential initiative, which brings the reality of drug use to young people and urges them to make responsible choices.

“I want to thank the Ministry of Family, Youth and Equal Opportunities for the invitation to the event organized at the Craiova Student House of Culture within the Campaign to prevent drug use, other forms of addiction, violence, bullying and human trafficking.

I am extremely happy to see the active involvement of the authorities in combating these acute problems of Romanian society. The No Barriers campaign is an essential initiative that brings the reality of drug use to young people and encourages them to make responsible choices.

I was deeply moved by the stories of the young people at Teen Challenge. Their faith in God, courage and determination to get out of the trap of addiction is an inspiration to us all. Their experiences prove that drugs are an illusion that can destroy your life forever, but also that recovery is possible and that there is a better life after addiction.

I am convinced that the young people who participated in this event went home with important lessons learned. It is essential that we continue our efforts to educate and inform young people about the risks of drug use and other harmful behaviours. Together, we can build a safer and healthier society for future generations”, says Daniel Gheba.
