Economica.net – ARF: All rail passenger transport companies are integrated and active in the One Stop Shop system as of today

Starting from Wednesday, April 24, from the address www.bilete.infofer.ro, tickets for trains of several operators on routes that are not served directly by a single transport company can be purchased with a single query.

The last company that was integrated into the Ghiseul Unic system was Regio Călători.

For trains of a single operator, tickets can still be purchased through its own platform, states ARF.

The Ghişeul Unic online platform – online sales, developed through the project “Integrated system, single database and provision of information regarding the ticketing system of railway passenger transport operators”, was publicly launched in June 2023.

By using the online platform, integrated travel tickets can be purchased, in accordance with the normative acts in force for rail travel, for the following categories of travelers: adult – any person (regardless of age) who pays the full travel fare; child – are considered children up to the age of 10 at the time of travel, including those up to five years old for whom a separate seat is requested; student – young people who follow a form of compulsory education (gymnasium, vocational/high school, post-high school) at an accredited/authorized educational unit in Romania; student – ​​are considered Romanian/foreign students enrolled in the form of education with frequency in accredited higher education institutions in Romania with a maximum age of 26.

Also, integrated travel tickets can only be purchased: for the customer categories mentioned above for a simple trip (one-way); on trains running in domestic traffic for which the purchase functionality is available; for a maximum number of passengers per transaction, depending on the type of carriage, as follows: six seats in class carriages – seat on a seat (1st class, 2nd class), six seats in bunk carriages with six beds in the cabin, four seats in the sleeping cars with four beds in the cabin, two seats in the sleeping cars with two beds in the cabin and in the “single” sleeping cars (alone in the cabin), three seats in the sleeping cars with three beds in the cabin; if for each train on the selected route, the same type of wagon is requested for all travelers in the transaction; if a separate seat is requested for each passenger, on trains with a reservation system.

The purpose with which the Ghiseul Unic online platform was designed was to sell tickets to any train, regardless of the public railway passenger transport operator that operates it, and reserve seats on the trains of any railway passenger transport operator, according to ARF.
