Accident with six victims, caused by a resident of Slatina who entered the wrong direction at Lunca Corbului

Six people were injured last night, in a road accident in the town of Lunca Corbului in Argeş county. From the first investigations, the culprit would be a driver from Slatina, who entered the opposite direction.

Two cars collided last night in the town of Lunca Corbului, and two people remained incarcerated, one of them in a state of unconsciousness. “There were 6 people in the two cars. All six people are adults (two women and four men) and needed medical care and transport to the hospital”transmitted ISU Argeş.

Traffic on DN 65 was blocked.

“From the preliminary checks, carried out by the policemen from the Argeş Road Service, it was established that a 44-year-old man, from Slatina, Olt county, who was driving a car on DN 65, from Slatina to Pitesti, in circumstances to be determined following the investigations, he entered the opposite direction, where he collided with a car, driven by a 29-year-old woman from Bucharest”, IPJ Argeş sent.

As a result of the accident, the 44-year-old driver was found unconscious, but with vital functions, who was picked up and transported to the hospital by the SMURD mobile intensive care team, presenting several traumas to the body. It also resulted in the slight injury of the driver and a 37-year-old passenger in the car she was driving (injured in the upper left limb and complaining of chest pain), as well as the bodily injury of three other 47-year-old passengers , from Vâlcea county, 47 years old, respectively 37 years old, from Olt county, from the first car.

“Given the medical condition, the driver could not be tested with the breathalyzer, as biological blood samples were collected to determine the alcohol level. For the car driver, the result of the breathalyzer test was zero”, the police from Argesa also sent.
