The stadium in Bacăuon which, once, big matches were played and on the turf of which legendary footballers for Romania stepped, is in a deplorable state.

Digi Sport journalist Marian Codirlă made a report at the stadium in Bacău and later did an interview with Gheorghe Chivorchian, former head of FCM Bacău.

“I haven’t been to the stadium for 17 years. I was almost in tears. I didn’t think he could end up looking the way he does.

It’s sad, it’s really sad. It’s a shame that an oasis of health in the middle of Bacău should look the way it does“, said Gheorghe Chivorchian, about the stadium in Bacău.

Florin Prunea: “I actually cried”

Florin Prunea, one of Romania’s legendary footballers who played in Bacău, revealed that he recently passed by the arena and, when he saw the state in which he ended up looking, he was moved to tears.

“I’ve been there before and I actually cried, I actually cried when I saw what the stadium looks like”, said Florin Prunea, at the Digisport League.
