About 40% of the local business environment, especially small and medium-sized companies, expect the level of investments to register a stagnation this year, according to a study carried out by the National Council of Small and Medium-sized Private Enterprises in Romania, the organization that the interests of small and medium companies appear. Almost 40% of the surveyed companies are of the opinion that their business will register a stagnation of growth this year.

The data were presented at the launch event of the Romanian Entrepreneurship Index, a study measuring the state of entrepreneurship in Romania, which analyzes several indicators and an analysis of the perception of the local business environment. The study was built on the basis of a set of statistical indicators, numbering 15, from official sources, covering various aspects of economic activity and on the basis of a survey applied to entrepreneurs that adds a subjective perspective on the business environment.
