We are in the Astra market in Brașov and we wanted to come and see the first Romanian tomatoes that were brought here to the market.
I found them at a producer in Olt and the price is really quite steep, it costs 50 lei for a kilogram of tomatoes, but I talked to the producer and he told me why this price is so high is a huge amount of work behind the cultivation of these tomatoes. There are several solariums where tomatoes are grown since November.

They are heated with two power plants and gas, and the producer said that the costs for maintaining the tomatoes are 1000 lei per day. These tomatoes are a bit bigger and cost 50 lei, but as you can see, Ionuț is a bit behind me.
