On Tuesday, at the Constanța Court, starting at 10:00 a.m., the first trial on the merits will take place in the case in which Loredana Ionela Atănăsoaie was sent to court in November 2023, being accused of murder. The court session will be held with open doors. Loredana killed her best friend, Alina, her body being found under a bench in a park in Mangalia. Both girls, both the criminal and the murdered girl, were from Vaslui county.
Starting at 10:00 a.m Constanța Court the first term is scheduled, in a session open to the interested public, in the case of the Mangalia crime, from August 2023, when a young woman was allegedly killed and put in a suitcase. Then, investigators say, the girl’s body was dumped in a park, under a bench.
The two girls had known each other for several years, they were from Vaslui county, and they had come together to Litoral, where they had worked as waitresses at a hotel.
According to the lawyer Adrian Cuculis, the mother of the murdered girl requests the change of the legal classification to qualified murder through cruelty and material interest.
According to prosecutors, “from the administered evidence, the following data resulted, as presumptive facts: on the night of 05/06.08.2023, while they were in a hotel room in the Saturn resort, against the background of pre-existing conflicts, the defendant stabbed his colleague, the CEA victim, in the neck area and caused his death, which occurred as a result of an internal and external hemorrhage, the consequence of the stab-cut wound at the cervical level, with the involvement of the vascular bundle at this level, then he transported the victim’s body and abandoned it under a bank in the municipality of Mangalia.
At the same time, on the morning of 06.08.2023, the defendant stole a bank card of the murdered victim, and, in carrying out the same criminal resolution, she illegally accessed the computer system at the ATM of a commercial bank on Constanţei Street in the municipality of Mangalia, by using the stolen bank card and thus fraudulently withdrew, successively, the total amount of 2,000 lei, in two installments of 1,000 lei each (one balance inquiry and two actual withdrawals), money on who appropriated them without right”.
