Motorola is gearing up for the launch of its new foldable smartphone, the Razr 50 Ultra, after it was certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
There is no confirmation yet if the XT2453-1 model, the callsign of this phone, will be available globally or only as a regional variant.
According to an image shared by journalist Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Razr 50 Ultra will retain the series’ signature design with the horizontal dual-camera setup and visible Razr logo. A large secondary screen is placed on the back panel, offering extended functionality without the need to open the device. On the front, the smartphone maintains the thin bezels and selfie camera, with the volume and power buttons located on the right edge, writes 91Mobile.
What specifications does the Razr 50 Ultra come with
In terms of specifications, the Razr 50 Ultra is said to come with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, a considerable upgrade over the previous model, the Razr 40 Ultra, which had 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Although there were higher-performance variants of the previous model in other markets, such as the USA, they were not available in Romania.
The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra has been praised for turning the outdoor screen into a truly useful one, significantly improving the user experience. However, the 3800mAh battery was considered only decent. At launch, its price was around 6000 lei, but now it can be found in stores for around 3500 lei.
The new Razr 50 Ultra is expected to be available in blue, orange and green, but pricing and availability details remain unknown.
