The battery with the most charging options, wired, wireless, reverse wired or wireless

HUAWEI Pura 70 Pro it comes with an impressive battery, not so much by the delivered capacity, but by the power options, 4 in number if you can believe it. We are working here with a Lithium-Polymer battery of 5050mAh which loads at 100W per wire or 80W wireless. That’s not all, because it also offers reverse wired charging at 18W and reverse wireless charging at 20W.

Now that we have clarified how we stand with the battery specifications, it would be appropriate to take a look at the tests carried out and we start with the video playback one, where we touched 23h 38m, i.e. a 22nd place in our ranking. We are just over a OnePlus Open and the good news is that we are beating the ASUS ROG Phone 8 Pro.

We also have many mid-range models, and from the area of current flagships, an example is the Galaxy S24 Ultra which obtained 27h 44mm. The leader is Honor Magic6 Pro with 31h 43m. A satisfactory result I would say even if this year’s rival flagships manage to deliver a few more hours.

Test made using PCMark for Android. It measures the maximum duration of an uninterrupted session of phone use, under conditions that replicate human behavior. The brightness of the screen is set to 200 LUX, and the phone performs web browsing, plays video, copies files and edits photos.

In the continuous use test we are at about the same level in the ranking, achieving 16h 31 minutes, over Xiaomi 13 Pro, vivo X90 Pro or Magic5 Pro. We beat the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra with its 15h 43m. Above is the ROG Phone 8 Pro with 17h 36m, the Zenfone 11 Ultra that reaches almost 21h and the OnePlus 12 at around 18h.

As I said in the introduction, the battery charges at 100W per wire, and that translates into a time of 40 minutes required for a full charge from 0 to 100%. I expected something better here, in the idea that I also had a charger in the package, along with the cable, so the conditions were ideal.

In comparison, a OnePlus 12 with the same standard at 100W needs only 24 minutes to charge. We may need an update here! In thresholds you have 16% reached in 5 minutes, 47% in 15 minutes, respectively 87% in 30 minutes.
