Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration Edition: Set for global launch

Huawei, the Chinese tech giant, recently launched a special edition of its Watch 4 Pro smartwatch, inspired by space exploration. Although currently only available in the Chinese market, recent rumors suggest that this special model could soon be launched in other international markets as well.

According to leaks from @MysteryLupin on the X platform (formerly Twitter), the Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration Edition would soon be launched on the European market. It is not yet clear if this smartwatch will be available in other regions of the world.

Design inspired by space exploration

The Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration Edition stands out for its two-tone design, with a black case and a red bezel, obtained through a special heating process. Built to withstand the harshest conditions, the watch is equipped with a high-tech ceramic bezel and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

Beyond its impressive appearance, this special edition comes bundled with UWB (Ultra-Wideband) technology, allowing touch-free control of compatible electric vehicles. The watch is also equipped with eSIM functionality, allowing you to make calls without the need for a smartphone.

Top technical specifications

The Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration Edition is equipped with a 1.5-inch color AMOLED LTPO screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. The side button allows for various functions such as long and short presses, while the top button acts as a rotating crown. The watch supports wireless charging and can be used with devices running HarmonyOS 2.0 or later, Android 8.0 or later, and iOS 13.0 or later.

With a water resistance of 5 ATM, the Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration Edition can be worn even while swimming. The battery life is impressive, offering up to 4.5 days of normal use and can be extended up to 12 days in regular use mode and 21 days in maximum use mode.

Although the price for the European market has not been revealed yet, in China this smart watch has been launched at a price of 4,999 Yuan, equivalent to approximately 658 euros or 704 US dollars.
