The iPad will finally have a computer! The reason why this app didn’t exist for 14 years on these devices

14 years after its launch, the iPad will have a calculator app.

Although iPads come from the factory with a lot of useful applications, well, they never had a computer.

After 14 years since its release, there is a possibility that iPads will finally contain such an application, according to rumors circulating in the public space.

Why iPads don’t contain the calculator app

Since the iPad was launched on the market, the calculator has not been among the applications that come pre-installed by Apple.

While the iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch and even the iPod touch have a standard calculator, there has never been one on the iPad.

Over time there have been several theories regarding the lack of a computer on iPads, but a story regarding this aspect even came from a former Apple employee.

So the former employee says that in the run-up to the release of the original version of the iPad, Steve Jobs called Scott Forstall (who was leading software development for the tablet) into his office.

Jobs at one point asked where the new computer app designed specifically for the iPad was, at which point Forstall replied that it didn’t exist. They were planning to use the iPhone version instead.

Jobs, who was known for his incredible attention to detail, was not happy with this because the app looked terrible in his eyes.

He later decided to remove the app permanently, which bothered Forstall. This app, however, has always been on the list of things that should be added to the iPad.
