Realme launches new Narzo 70 and Narzo 70x smartphones with 120Hz screens and 50MP cameras

Technology company Realme recently announced the launch of two new Narzo series smartphones named Narzo 70 and Narzo 70x. These devices come equipped with impressive 120Hz screens and 50MP main cameras, promising an immersive multimedia experience and high-quality photos.

Realme Narzo 70 is equipped with the powerful Dimensity 7050 processor and a memory of up to 8GB RAM, ensuring excellent performance for tasks such as gaming, web browsing and multitasking. The device runs Android 14 with custom Realme UI 5.0 and benefits from two years of system updates and three years of security updates.

The 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits peak brightness provides clear and detailed images, perfect for viewing multimedia content or gaming. The device is also equipped with Rainwater Smart Touch technology and an in-screen fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.

While the Realme Narzo 70 is a completely new model, the Narzo 70x is actually a rebranded version of the Realme 12x smartphone already available in India, with some minor changes to the design, colors and memory configurations.

The Realme Narzo 70x is powered by the Dimensity 6100+ processor and also runs Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14. The device features a 6.72-inch LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate and a 5,000mAh battery with charging fast 45W.

In terms of Camera, the Narzo 70x has a triple setup with a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth camera and an 8MP selfie camera. The device also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers and 5G connectivity.

Pricing and Availability

Attractive pricing options for both models, with sales starting April 25

The Realme Narzo 70 will be available in Ice Blue and Olive Green colors with two memory options: 6GB/128GB at INR 15,999 (approx. $190/€180) and 8GB/128GB at INR 16,999 (approx. $205/€190). The smartphone will be available for purchase in India from April 25 through Realme’s official website and Amazon.in.

As for the Realme Narzo 70x, it will be offered in Ice Blue and Forest Green colors with two memory configurations: 4GB/128GB at INR 11,999 (approx. USD 145/€135) and 6GB/128GB at INR 13,499 (approx. 160 USD/€150). Sales will begin in India on April 29, also through Realme’s official website and Amazon.in. However, a pre-sale will take place today at 18:00 local time.
