OPPO K12 is official, rebranding of OnePlus Ace 3V but with some hardware differences

Mid-spring releases continue, and today we get to know OPPO K12 which is meant to be a rebrand of the OnePlus Ace 3V, but with some hardware differences. It debuts on the Chinese market where it will most likely remain, and we discover more details in the lines below.

In terms of design, we note first of all the different logo on the back and the fact that the photo module is longer. It has the same flat edges, comes in gray or green with a cloud-like pattern, and its features are somewhere between the OnePlus Ace 3V and the OnePlus Nord CE4.

Thus, we get processor Snapdragon 7 Gen36.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz screen, 16 mpx front camera and 50 mpx wide dual setup at the back (Sony LYT-600, f/1.8, OIS) + 8 mpx ultrawide (IMX355). We have optical fingerprint scanner integrated in the display, IP54 certification and Android 14 with ColorOS 14 interface applied over.

OPPO K12 comes with 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6e, it also has NFC, and the impressive 5500 mAh battery supports 100W power supply by wire. Coming back to the screen, it also has a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, 2160Hz PWM Dimming and 1100 nits peak brightness.

Configurations are with 8 or 12 GB LPDDR4 RAM + 256 or 512 GB UFS 3.1, plus microSD slot. Prices start at just $248 in China.
