This year the HUAWEI P70 series of phones is to be presented. This lineup would include 4 models, namely the P70, P70 Pro, P70 Pro+, but also the P70 Art Edition. Leaks, renders and information have been coming out for the past few months, but today we have information related to the release date of the terminals. I have details below!
A photo hitting the web (via weibo) tells us that the China launch of the flagship series will take place on April 2nd. There will be at least 4 variants that I listed above, and the tipster has also put up some hints / images referencing this sudden debut. It is curious that we are practically 3-4 days away from the launch, but HUAWEI has not posted an announcement / teaser or information regarding this debut of the terminals.
All models in the series would bring the Kirin 9000S processor, that chipset manufactured on a 7nm SMIC lithography process. The company producing chipsets is currently under the scrutiny of the US authorities as it would not be allowed to produce such processors for HUAWEI.
It is not clear what the specifications look like exactly, but we can get an idea by looking at the table below:

If the release does happen, it means that previous rumors referring to an April debut are correct. It’s worth noting that the terminals are only arriving in China for now. Probably globally we will choose a HUAWEI P70 Pro in the future, successor to the P60 Pro, but with a Snapdragon CPU under the hood.
