It seems that the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will not bring big changes to the rear camera module. It’s only rumored that it could be a bit bigger. However, the diagonal of the display would also increase: from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches for the Pro variant, respectively from 6.7 inches to 6.9 inches for the iPhone 16 Pro Max model. It would basically be the biggest Apple phone ever released.

In addition, these cheaper variants receive a feature currently only available on the iPhone 15 Pro / 15 Pro Max, namely Action Button. The Mute switch is replaced with this multifunctional button.

Additionally, we learn that all models will receive the so-called “Capture Button“. Its functionality is unclear, but it is rumored that it will be able to be used to capture photos and videos, as well as adjust zoom and focus. With iOS 18, Apple plans to bring AI to its phones, and the “Action Button” could be used to access various AI options. The launch of the new iPhone 16 series takes place sometime in September this year.
