Two stages remain to be played in the League 3 play-off and three in the play-out, and on Friday and Saturday, May 10-11, 2024, new matches are scheduled to be played, within the 8th round of the two tournaments.

As the intermediate stage in League 3 took place on Tuesday and Wednesday, the matches of the 8th stage take place more on Saturday.

14 of the games take place on Friday, two of which start at 14:00 (AFC Câmpulung Muscel – Olimpic Zărneşti and FCU Craiova FC 2 – Jiul Petroşani), and the rest start at 18:00. The other 33 scheduled in this stage take place on Saturday, only from 18:00.

  • In the play-offs and play-outs, the teams entered with the points accumulated in the regular season. In the tournament that determines the formations that go to the promotion playoffs, they are played in a round, return, round system, so nine stages in total, and in the play-out there will be round and return games, so ten stages.

FC Bihor Oradea continues to be undefeated in this League 2 season, but Metalul Buzău has the most accumulated points

The leaders of the ten play-off groups in League 3, following the results obtained in the 25 stages throughout the season, are: Bucovina Rădăuți (Series 1, 42 points), Metalul Buzău (S2, 68), CS Afumați (S3, 64 ), CS Dinamo Bucharest (S4, 56), AFC Câmpulung Muscel (S5, 60), SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea (S6, 50), CSC Ghiroda and Giarmata Vii (S7, 52), FC Bihor Oradea (S8, 63), Gloria Bistrita Năsăud (S9, 54) and SCM Zalău (S10, 55).

They are the leaders who were also before the last four rounds.

FC Bihor Oradea is still the only unbeaten team this season, in 25 matches accumulating 19 wins and six draws in Series 8. The team with the most points accumulated this season in League 3 is Metalul Buzău, the leader in Series 2, who he has collected 68 points so far, from 22 wins, two draws and one failure.

15 qualified teams in the semi-final of the promotion barrier in League 2. Eight are also mathematically relegated

Before the 8th stage of the play-off takes place, 15 teams are mathematically qualified in the semi-final stage of the promotion play-off. These are

Bucovina Rădăuți (S1), Buzau metal, CSM Focsani (both from S2), CS Smoke, Calarasi Danube (both from S3), CS Dinamo Bucharest (S4), AFC Campulung Muscel, Olympic Zarnesti (both from S5), SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea (S6), CSC Ghiroda and Giarmata Vii (S7), FC Bihor Oradea, SSU Polytechnic Timișoara (both from S8), Gloria Bistrita Năsăud, Ungheni Union (both from S9) and SCM Zalău (S10).

Moreover, six of them secured the 1st place in the series in which they are active, Metalul Buzău, CS Afumați, CS Dinamo, FC Bihor, SCM Zalău and AFC Câmpulung Muscel, and four secured the 2nd place, SSU Poli Timișoara, CSM Focşani, Dunărea Călăraşi and Olimpic Zărneşti.

Under these conditions, we also know the first round of the semifinals. CS Dinamo, the leader in Series 4, will meet Dunărea Călărași, the second ranked in Series 3.

There are also eight mathematically relegated teams from League 3. It is about CS Paulesti (S4), Cozia Călimăneşti (S6), CSO Turceni, FCU Craiova FC 2 (both from S7), Future Suțesti (S2), SR Brasov (S5), ACB Ineu (S8) and Galda Industry (S9). From Series 1 no one falls anymore, because Future Darabani and Suceava Forest or withdrawn from competition during the regular season, the former still in the round, and the latter, in the return. And during the play-out there was an abandonment of those from Miner Ocna Dejfrom the Series 10 play-out.
