The coach of Alaves changed his mind in the case of Ianis Hagi, after not counting on him in the last matches.
Luis Garcia was delighted with the way Ianis prepared and announced that he will give him more chances in the final matches.
“There are people who helped us a lot from the shadows. Hagi, for example, had an incredible attitude, the kid hasn’t played for a long time, but he is training with joy, with anticipation. Some players will participate more in this end of the season. Not all of them the same, because it’s impossible, I want to involve them,” said Luis Garcia.
For the fifth match in a row, Ianis Hagi was forgotten on the bench by Alaves’ coach and was an unused reserve.
Alaves won the match with Valencia 1-0, but Ianis Hagi didn’t check any minutes.
In fact, he hasn’t played for Alaves since March, when he got 33 minutes in the rout against Bilbao.
The last time Ianis was an unused substitute for 5 games in a row was in 2017. At the time, Ianis was just a teenager with a card at Fiorentina, a club that didn’t count on him.
