CSM Bucharest lost the double with Metz in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and again missed the presence in the Final Four.
CSM Bucharest has not played in the Final Four since the 2017-2018 season, when it took third place.
From that season until now, CSM Bucharest brought dozens of foreign players from public money, paid salaries like no other team in Europe could afford, but failed to qualify for the League’s ace box Champions.
