Instead, the Air Force has already reserved the right to call to arms the runners who finish in the first 10 places, because they run faster than a MiG equipped with Romania.
Those who ran and finished the 42 km race will automatically become officers, especially if they also know how to read and write, a condition that 25% of recruits do not meet, claims Robert Acrișor, Chief of the General Staff.
The runners who will evade the conscription will be followed, says Robert Acrișor, but it is not clear who in the Army could catch them, because the runners would give their lives after 20-30 meters.
The plan of those in the Army is to stay at the finish line at the big races, like the Bucharest half-marathon or the fall marathon, and as soon as the medal is placed around the runner’s neck, the incorporation order is also given.
