UPDATE 12:40. The lawyers of each of the three investigated supporters argued before the judges the reasons why they request the release of the clients. According to digisport.ro, everything lasted about 35 minutes, and the verdicts would come somewhere around 4:00 p.m. Those close to them said they were optimistic about the verdict.

Bocciu and the other two suspects ask for the change of the arrest measure for 30 days. Thus, they want the sentence reduced, its change to one of house arrest or the induction of the quality of suspect, just like the other 12 who were initially taken to hearings.

Out of all 17, two investigated admitted a lesser or greater involvement, the leader of the supporters Liviu “Bocciu” Ungurean refused to give statements, 11 people “used the right to remain silent”, and two did not admit any of the facts for which were heard.

Liviu Ungurean sent a message from prison

Shortly after what happened, Liviu Ungurean decided to send a message to the entire rapidist movement, even from prison. Concretely, “Bocciu” urges all Rapid fans to continue supporting Cristiano Bergodi’s team.

Moreover, Ungurean hopes to be released before the match with Craiova University, which will take place on March 30.

“Hello dear Rapidists,

Via Gigi Corsicanu, Liviu Ungurean’s lawyer was contacted, and Liviu told us that he thanks all the rapidists for being with him, and appeals to all the rapidist breath to be with the team, maybe more than when he was on the lawn! And in the match with Farul, he would have liked to hear the Rapid’s gallery up to where he is detained.

He doesn’t want to leave the gallery in trouble now, and hopes for a favorable and fair decision from the court. He trusts both the court and God that everything will be clarified, and in the match with Craiova he wants to lead the Rapid gallery as he has done so far.

Liviu calls for calm to all Rapidists, and if the court’s decision is unfavorable, then a decision will be made regarding the future of the Rapid gallery.

We will return with details after the court’s decision!”submitted the page Visiniu.ro.
