Several fans reacted on social media, saying that Cisse, a former defensive midfielder, bears a striking resemblance to famous rapper Snoop Dogg.
Senegal coach, Snoop Dogg lookalike
Cisse has been Senegal’s coach for more than seven years. He was second and “interim” in the first representative team, and from March 5, 2015 he took over the national team from the position of “principal”.
“Aliou Cisse, the coach of Senegal, reminds me of Snoop Dogg. I like him. I hope they have a good game against Holland”, wrote a fan on Twitter.
“Senegal’s coach, Aliou Cisse, could bethe ‘coolest’ World Cup coach”, wrote another user, who posted a picture of Snoop Dogg.
“I didn’t know Senegal was coached by Snoop Dogg”was another reaction on social media.
As a player, Cisse played in France and England. In his career, he ticked off teams such as Lille, CS Sedan, PSG, Montpellier, Birmingham, Portsmouth or Nimes.
