The foundation founded by the Russian dissident Alexei Navalny published images taken of a hidden camera in Vladimir Putin’s palace. The photos and video show the luxury prepared for the Russian president.

After the investigation into Putin’s palace in 2021, a friend of the Russian leader, businessman Arkadiy Rotenberg, said that the building belonged to him and that a hotel would be opened there after renovation.

However, according to the Russian Anti-Corruption Foundation, more than 3 years since then, no hotel has appeared in the palace on Cape Idokopas, although the renovation was completed. Instead, the palace seems ready for Putin.

“We will invite you on a unique trip. We have nearly four hours of video from inside every room of Putin’s palace. From inside the most secret and guarded building in the country. Bedrooms, offices with government communication lines, gyms and even a chapel where we will appreciate the true extent of his madness and see Putin pray alone. Today we will literally break into Putin’s house and show you who he really is – a crazy old dictator who, even during the war that has started, cannot stop and continues to build himself a palace”, write the investigators from the Foundation Anti-corruption.

The palace has an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, SPA and a performance hall, an underground ice rink was built near the palace, as Putin is fond of hockey. Investigative journalists also obtained the plans of the so-called hotel, which prove that the palace is ready for the Russian president. A luxurious office with a table exactly like in each of Putin’s offices was built in the palace.

The palace has an estimated value of approximately one billion euros. The “reading room” alone is adorned with two chandeliers made by the French fine crystal manufacturer Baccarat, which cost a total of about 100 million rubles (about $1 million).
