eMAG says that these cyber attacks can take the form of emails, SMS messages, messages on WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, or even cloned websites, each with texts created specifically to mislead us. eMAG says that some of the most serious risks facing victims who fall prey to criminals involve money theft, identity theft, or other financial or personal damage, and the implications for each can be vast. eMAG recommends us not to comply with any requests from strangers, regardless of where we receive them and how real a message seems to be, especially if we are asked for personal data, because the store does not do that.
