The weather will be warm and the precipitation will be isolated and in the form of showers during the Easter mini-holiday, the general director of the National Meteorological Administration (ANM), Elena Mateescu, said for AGERPRES on Monday.

“Starting from May 1, we will have warm weather, with temperatures across the country between 17 and 24 – 25 degrees, with the highest values ​​in the extra-Carpathian regions. We are talking here about the West, South-West, South I can say that we are approaching the maximum of a summer day, but we do not rule out that, during the evening and at night, we will also have light showers. It is important to spend free time with our loved ones, because the weather, during this Holy Week, it will be beautiful and warming from one day to the next. If today we count on values ​​of up to 27 degrees, tomorrow (Tuesday, April 30, 2024) with the same difference we end the month of April, with generous values ​​of 27 degrees This means values ​​above what would be normal for the last decade of April,” said Mateescu, according to Agerpres.

According to the ANM representative, the last month of spring will start with generally nice weather and on the night from Saturday to Sunday there will be minimum positive temperatures throughout the country.

“Thus, we will have 10 – 12 degrees Celsius in the southern half of the country, values ​​up to 8 – 9 degrees Celsius, in the northern half, respectively 11 – 12 degrees Celsius in the Capital, on the first day of the holy holidays. Also, the day from Sunday will bring values ​​between 17 to 20 – 22 degrees Celsius, including in Bucharest”, said the head of the National Agency for National Statistics.

Regarding precipitation, Elena Mateescu specified that, in Bucharest, “especially on Wednesday and Thursday, starting from the evening hours, short-term showers are possible, in very small quantities”.
