After yesterday’s rain, the traces of the Saharan dust cloud that covered a large part of the country remained. The National Meteorological Administration announced that the cloud with Saharan particles will move to the northeast and away from the country this evening. So, don’t rush to clean the windows or take the cars to the car wash.

“Between April 23 at 9 a.m. and April 24 at 1 p.m., air circulation, predominantly south-westerly, will favor the advance from the north of Africa of an air mass loaded with dust particles of Saharan origin, towards the south-east of Europe. This mass of air will be over Romania on Tuesday (April 23) and in the first part of Wednesday (April 24)”, states ANM, according to news.ro.

Dust deposits can be observed in the areas and in the intervals in which it will rain.

In the afternoon of Wednesday, the air mass loaded with Saharan dust particles will move to the northeast and away from Romania.
