The images, published by blogger Anatoli Şarii, considered a Russian agent and suspected of treason in Ukraine, caused outrage in the war-torn country.

The blogger noted that the video, which shows a man kissing several women in his office at different times, features “Rivne’s top soldier, Colonel Oleksandr Yarmoshevich.”

After the images appeared, the head of the military commissariat in Rivne requested the transfer to one of the combat units for the further performance of official duties.

“The command has no claims regarding the performance of other tasks outside the scope of official duties. However, we note that military personnel should not solve their personal problems at work. Taking into account the public reaction after the publication of the images, the officer in question on his own initiative drew up a report on his transfer to one of the combatant units,” the Western Operational Group of the Ukrainian army said.

In a statement to the “Rivne Vecearnîe” publication, Oleksandr Yarmoshevich said that it was a discredit campaign under the conditions that he “acted according to his conscience and did not take a bribe.”
