ANM weather warning Red code of torrential rains in dozens of localities in the south of the country

The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued a red code weather warning, valid this morning, between 07.50 – 09.00.

According to specialists, torrential downpours are expected to accumulate over 50 l / sqm and frequent electric discharges. In the warned area, over 40 l / sqm have accumulated in the last hour.

List of localities affected by the red code weather warning:

Giurgiu County: Mihăilești, Ghimpați, Ogrezeni, Crevedia Mare, Buturugeni, Bucșani, Letca Nouă, Singureni, Grădinari, Clejani, Mârșa, Iepurești, Bulbucata;

Teleorman County: Videle, Orbeasca, Botoroaga, Călinești, Blejești, Vârtoape, Trivalea-Moșteni, Gălăteni, Băbăița, Mereni, Olteni, Vedea, Frăsinet, Rădoiești, Cosmești, Talpa, Scurtu Mare, Drăgănești de Moedei, Vede Necșești, Purani, Sfințești, Crevenicu.
