POCO F6 looks like it will be a hit among gamers! The phone will bring Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor

Since the POCO F3’s debut, it’s like we haven’t seen a real leap in performance from its successors. It walked in the chapter camera, design, but the performance was not really improved, the chipsets being equivalent from year to year. Well, in 2024 we are preparing for its launch POCO F6, and this model looks like it will indeed bring a serious hardware upgrade. It would get a powerful new generation processor viz Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. I have details below.

The phone was discovered in the source code of the HyperOS interface with the model number “SM8635“. It is also known internally under the code name “Peridot“. Apparently, the terminal will follow in the footsteps of the recently launched Xiaomi CIVI 4 Pro, going to adopt a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. However, it is rumored that the POCO F6 will actually be a rebranded variant of another phone that will debut in China soon, namely the Redmi Note 13 Turbo.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 CPU is similar in performance to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and it brings support for LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 3.1 or UFS 4.0 fast storage. We also learn via Android Headlines that the phone will also get a main camera with a 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor. It’s the same sensor used in the case of realme 12 Pro or OnePlus Ace 3V. Next to it we will find an 8 MP ultrawide camera, and the selfie camera will use an OV20B sensor from OmniVision.

POCO F6 could be presented towards the end of April or in May. Until his debut he should debut first Redmi Note 13 Turbo in China, however, being a rebranded variant for this model. It is rumored that there will also be a POCO F6 Pro, a model that could bring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and slightly better cameras.
