The FRF has made an announcement regarding the settlement of license applications for UEFA competitions. A special case in represents the club Corvinul Hunedoara.

FRF, announcement regarding the settlement of license applications for UEFA cups

The FRF announced, on Friday, April 26, the groups that received a license to participate in the UEFA and UEFA WCL club competitions, season 2024-2025.

The Club Licensing Commission issued its decisions on April 18, 2024. According to the RNCL&SF, 2023 edition, and the RNLCUWCL, 2023 edition, clubs could appeal until April 22, 2024. The Appeals Commission issued its decisions on 26 April 2024.

The following clubs have been licensed to participate in UEFA club competitions and UEFA WCL, season 2024 – 2025, as a result of being found to have met the minimum requirements set out in the National Club Licensing and Financial Sustainability Regulations, 2023 edition, or in the National Licensing Regulations of clubs for participation in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, 2023 edition:

Regarding CS Corvinul 1921 Hunedoara, the Licensing Administration cannot provide details at this time about the licensing process, because the extraordinary licensing procedures are carried out by UEFA.

According to UEFA’s Licensing Regulations, only it can grant special permission to a club to enter UEFA club competitions.
