Last night, a macabre discovery was made in Pitesti. The lifeless body of a 30-year-old young man, a veterinary assistant, was found in his own car.

“The police from Argeș were notified through the National Single Emergency Call Service 112, by a medical team, that following the intervention in a case within the Pitesti municipality, the death of a 30-year-old man was found“, initially announced IPJ Argeș.

The victim’s body was found near the office where he worked. From the local media it appears that the young man was described as consuming alcohol and suffering from depression. Officially, the circumstances in which the assistant lost his life are to be established following the autopsy.

Preliminary data indicate that the young man would have administered several substances to which he had access in the office. At this point, investigators are considering two hypotheses.

In the first of them, the possibility is analyzed that the young man was a drug user and accidentally overdosed. According to sources cited by Observer News, among the substances administered are diazepam and ketamine. This will be determined by toxicology.

Then, the second hypothesis is that of a suicide. It seems that Bogdan (30 years old) has been depressed for months. A series of misunderstandings with his girlfriend would have triggered everything. He left no goodbye note.

Criminal case opened by the police

Following this tragedy, the Argeș police opened a criminal case. The exact circumstances of Bogdan’s death are being investigated. Also, to clarify the exact cause of death, a forensic autopsy will be performed.

“In order to ensure the legal framework necessary for the checks, a criminal file was drawn up in the case, according to art. 192 of the Criminal Code, in which the investigations are continued under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Pitesti Court“, the investigators explained.
