Ion Adam Street in Constanța, currently furrowed by dozens of trenches covered with gravel, will be completely asphalted by the end of next week, unless unforeseen situations intervene.
The first deadline for returning the street to its original state expired on April 29, and currently the procedures for obtaining new paving authorities have been started.
The statements belong to the engineer Radu Zlăvog, from the company that performs works in the area, as part of a RAJA project. When asked why the initial deadline was not respected, he stated that the works were complex and that they are working simultaneously on several nearby streets.
Ion Adam Street has been in its current state for several months, and the ditches that cross it make traffic difficult and cause damage to vehicles, to the displeasure of drivers. The situation is complicated by the fact that many streets in the area are one-way, and drivers are forced to drive in the conditions described, if they do not want to go around the neighborhood a lot.
